Cheesy potato bake


  • 500ml milk
  • 10ml olive oil
  • 30g butter
  • 5tbl flower
  • 1tbl garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 6 potatoes
  • 300g diced bacon
  • 300g shredded cheese
  • 100g parmesan cheese


  • Pre heat oven 200°
  • Cut potatoes into slices add to mixing bowl
  • Cut onion add to mixing bowl
  • Add bacon to mixing bowl
  • Blend milk, butter, flower, garlic until well mixed
  • Place a saucepan on medium heat add a 10ml olive oil, and blended mixture
  • Heat until hot add grated cheese
  • Mix until melted
  • Add mixture to mixing bowl and mix to combine
  • Place in crockery bowl place lid on
  • Cook with lid for 1h 30m
  • Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top
  • Cook uncovered for 30 mins
